Furuno NavNet TZtouch 2, TZtouch 3 and TZT XL

Furuno’s TZtouch 2, TZtouch 3, and TZT XL MFDs can each create their own wireless hotspot. Once your device is connected to an MFD’s Wi Fi network, all of your user data—such as marks, routes, and boundaries—will automatically sync with the MFD. In addition, TZ iBoat will receive all available navigation data from the MFD, including position, course, speed, heading, depth, wind, and AIS information.

TZ iBoat requires no setup for this connection. As soon as it detects an MFD on the Wi Fi network, it will automatically use it as its data source, giving priority to the MFD’s position data over the device’s built in GPS.
