Fish Finder

IMPORTANT: The Sounder Module needs to be purchased to be able to connect TZ iBoat to the Furuno FCV600 or FCV800 fish finder. To purchase the Sounder module, click on the “TZ” button located on the top left of your screen, select “Store” and then “Modules”.

Day Background Color: Adjusts the color palette of the Fish Finder in day mode.

Night Background Color: Adjusts the color palette of the Fish Finder in night mode.

Echo Color Level: Displays the Fish Finder echo in 8, 16 or 64 colors.

Color Erase: The color erase allows you to get rid of weak echo on screen. This can help reduce clutter coming from sediment or plankton.

A-Scope Peak Hold: This option allows you to hold the echo return in the A-Scope for a couple of seconds.

Shift: This option adjusts the Sounder Range "offset". When the sea-floor depth exceeds a practical maximum setting, increasing the Range causes the Sounder echo to become too small to view clearly. The Shift function allows to narrows the echo to only a portion of the water column.

Interference Rejection: This setting allows to get rid of interference coming from electrical noise or from other sounders. 

Clutter: Increase this setting to remove low intensity “spots” of noise that can appear all over the screen when sediment in the water or noise are picked up by the sounder.

Auto Gain Offset

Gain Offset: This setting allows to strengthen or weaken the gain that is used in auto mode.

ACCU-Fish

ACCU-Fish Symbols: Selects the symbol that are used for the ACCU-Fish function.

Fish Finder Info

Display various information that are useful for troubleshooting.
