Connection Wizard Introduction

The Connection Wizard is used to configure instruments such as GPS, AIS, Heading and Wind Sensor. The Wizard is designed to intuitively recognize your hardware devices and connect them to the software correctly. However, you must already have the devices wired and transmitting data.

Note: The Connection Wizard is not used to configure Radar or Sounder. It is only used to configure NMEA0183, NMEA2000 and NavNet NMEA sensors.

The Connection Wizard is also used to output data (NMEA0183) to a pilot or external display.

To open the Connection Wizard, make sure to start the software in "Navigation" mode, click on the "TimeZero" button and select "Connection Wizard":
