Camera

The Camera options allows you to configure camera(s) and video input (to bring external screen) in TimeZero. Up to 4 cameras can be configured, allowing the user to switch source from the Camera WorkSpace or Camera Navdata. TimeZero Professional  is compatible with AXIS network camera and converter, ONVIF Camera,  and FLIR camera (M-Series). For video input, TimeZero is compatible with DirectShow device (USB) or H264 feed.

  • Camera Configuration List: This window allows to Add, Edit and Remove camera. The status column indicates if the camera is working properly (green) or not (red). In case of problem (red status), you can rollover the mouse to get more information. In case of IP camera or converter, the IP address will be available under the Address column.

  • Active Camera Cone Color: Selects the color of the Cone that will be representing the Field of View (FOV) of the Active Camera on the chart and radar screen.

  • Lock Active Camera in Man Over Board: When this option is checked, the camera will automatically track the Man Over Board position.

  • Enable USB joystick control for active camera: Select this option when a USB joystick is connected to the computer

    • Invert Tilt axis: Select this option if the movement of the camera seems inverted when pushing or pulling the Joystick.

    • Minimum Threshold: This slider adjusts the Joystick "dead band". The higher the setting the greater the Joystick has to move (initially) before sending a command to the Active Camera.

IMPORTANT: Make sure to calibrate the USB joystick in Windows. Please refer to the Calibrate Joystick Chapter
