Chart

This button allows you to select the chart used on the screen, adjust some of its property (vector chart only) and show/hide various layers of information on top of the chart:

  • Chart: Selects the type of chart used. Select "Auto" if you want TimeZero to pick automatically the best chart source according to the area.

  • Vector Chart Preset Provides quick access to five default presets (offering different levels of detail for vector charts) as well as any custom preset the customer may have created. Please refer to the Adjusting Vector Charts Display chapter for more information.

  • Terrain Shading: Displays and adjusts the intensity of the relief shading (in 2D or 3D). This adjusts the chart contrast according to the slope and improve the perception of terrain.

  • Depth Shading: Displays and adjusts the intensity of the depth shading. Please refer to Depth Shading for more information.

  • Bottom Hardness: Displays and adjusts the intensity of the Bottom Hardness (available only with selected sounders). Please refer to Bottom Hardness for more information.

  • Depth Contour Lines: Displays contour lines on the chart that are generated from the 3D database. These contour lines can be displayed over any type of chart and the density can be configured.

  • Accu-Fish Icons: Displays the Accu-Fish icons along the track behind the boat on the chart. This only applies to DFF1/BBDS1/DFF1-UHD sounders with compatible transducer.

  • Fish Targets: Displays fish targets on the chart from a multibeam sounder such as DFF-3D or WASSP.

  • MM3D Satellite Picture: Displays the Satellite Pictures over the chart.

  • Tidal Height Stations: Displays the Tidal Stations over the chart.

  • Tidal Currents: Displays the Tidal Currents over the chart.

  • Dynamic Mooring: Displays Dynamic moorings over the chart.

  • Grid: Displays a grid over the chart

  • Link all plotters: This mode is only available when the WorkSpace contains two Navigation displays. For example you can choose to display Vector chart on right and Photos Satellite on left. Then each zoom and orientation actions will be synchronized in both displays
